Other Hobbies?

So, aside from fire spinning, I also apparently have a knack for making ceramic dolls look creepy (as if they didn't already look creepy as is... I take it to the next level.)

Perfect for halloween.

Maybe I'm a sociopath?

Best watch out.

I used a tiny lighter torch to burn one of the ceramic dolls, I wanted to give it a "doll that was trapped in a burning building" look, and I'm pleased to say that it worked! I just used watered down paint, to "paint" in any scorched marks on the ceramic, because I didn't want to overheat the ceramic and risk in cracking (although, a cracked ceramic doll head would look pretty creepy too, now that I think about it!)

Here's how the doll looked before I did the...ahem...alterations.

In my original post, you can see me further working on the doll, by painting the "scorched" marks on its feet. You can see the finished project, in the pictures where the dolls are in the 12 gallon Mr.Aqua rimless tank, it's the 2nd one from the left.

lol yup. definatly creepy both ways hahah
you know the crappy plastic dolls? there used to be a HEAD of one on my aunts propperty. and we would swear up and down that the damn thing made it in the trash and out to the garbage truck and yet somehow, it would show up in the darn front yard. or the woods, or the backyard. this thing was creepy, missing most of it's hair and well just a head. Obviously the dogs were finding their "toy" missing and drag it out of the trash but man it just kept popping up over and over and over.

Fill it? Fill what? Make what float? Lol

I might have to create a new thread so as not to continue derailing this thread. Once I'm on a laptop, I will. :)

Wish I could find the memory card for the camera. I might take some good photos of my tank stock...

Brought this one back to life...

Not "new" hobby for me, always have enjoyed music but have recently got into more studio related equipment for music. Using a Lenovo laptop through a JBL controller, JBL studio speakers and a Fluid audio sub. Not as impressive as my normal living room set up but pretty nice to have all my music on the laptop.

Awesome….hobby.

mine is similar. I like 4x4s though. Haha

specifically Toyota landcruisers.

i had a 66 fj40 that was a project never finished
I also had a 1978 fj55 which was my all time favorite ( until the floor pans completely rusted out)

now I have a 1994 fzj80 that has lockers and runs trails with ease.E6E9B070-0B3B-466E-B8CB-E39E200F1D59.jpegF06457DD-044B-4723-A225-BA26846AFA76.jpegD5F24667-B7A7-4225-9392-670CD9BF67AB.jpegDF487FDB-E40D-468A-944E-CC5DE31B2F94.jpegDCE291B3-FE2B-48FA-90E0-4712DAEB13B7.jpeg78A49C4A-1388-4DAD-B847-6780EF0E2F8E.jpeg6E5FAA67-0215-4453-B228-42206F5E6BFA.jpeg

I like those older toy's too. I really like the old defenders but I don't have that kinda coin laying around.

Hmmm... Since we seem to be on the topic of motorized hobbies...

This was last summer when I had to move everything to the driveway so I could use the garage as a 'spray booth' to paint the backs of four 75's and four 40L's during my fish room upgrade. Common thread amongst all four cars is a serious fun factor.

This was my track car that I sold a while back; I still miss it. Was great fun to terrorize the 911's.
