I've use the super glue on corals before never had a problem I'm pretty sure is ok for plants

I only have room for one tank This is what troubles me on the 55g the weight is distributed across 48" and the 56g is only distribute across 36 inches so theres more weight per square inch on the 56g

I guess I'm just paronoid I'm taking down the 55g and maybe setting up the 56g

I guess both I've had my 55g for over a year with out any problems I just bought a 56g column and now I'm having a second thoughts about setting it up
