Been so busy with the yard and new concrete drive that I let the tanks go a bit when it came to glass cleaning and gravel vacs, just simple drain and fill water changes and feedings was all I've been doing for the past couple of weeks. Just couldnt take it anymore and did a bit better cleaning on all the tanks so that they are at least a bit presentable. Algae is healthy but when you cant see the fish it kind of defeats the purpose of having the tanks to begin with, lol.
One thing I hadnt considered with all the additional concrete, I have to run longer hoses out to drain onto the grass. This means it takes a bit longer to drain. Might need to come up with a more powerful pump and a bit larger dia hose to drain faster. Another project for another day.
