Received six ~2"
Botia dario from The Wet Spot last week to test whether their reputation as MTS-eaters was warranted, and was it ever! I put them into a 75g with a significant MTS infestation, and they got to work on the snails within minutes. Less than a week later, and I haven't seen a live MTS in that tank for days. Finally, a 'catfish' (not really:
Botia are actually Cyprinids) that actually earns its keep! Today I received 8 more of them for another tank, and plan to keep them around, just in case. If you keep live plants, sooner or later snails will come along for the ride. I don't mind most of them, but the MTS are just too much.
