Sorry for the scratched and dirty glass, the air line and wires everywhere.... My tanks are mostly working tanks not show tanks. I'm planning a 90g discus tank that will be show though, or I'm hoping it will stay as a show tank :cyclops:

LOL I hear ya about the show tanks. I have decided that my show tanks are my show tanks and while I keep some fish that I breed in there, I end up culling about 1/2 of the fry because if I don't observe the spawn then I won't keep them.

Hey that is a nice group of fish you have got there. Very nice.... I have a question though, the picture in the first set with the calvus off to the right has a jaw bone on a pot. What kind of jaw bone is that..... the reason I ask is I found a jaw bone identical to that a few weeks ago and have no idea what it is from. So if you know can you clue me in please.

Yeah. Whats with the lower jawbone in the tank? You find alot of jawbones laying around in Florida? And would bone contribute to water harness and/or PH level? Not that I'm going to dig up good ol' Roofus for some bone matter but the idea is ponderous. BTW, Very nice fish you have. Your assortment and quality is astounding. Feel free to upload some more eye candy for us.

:D Thanks for the compliments guys :D I pride myself on having fat and healthy fish :D

The jaw bone is more than likely from a dog. I found it out in the woods. I also have a raccoon skull in my brichardi tank that is fully covered in java moss. When I had a Rhodesian ridgeback that I would take to the woods quite often and find all kinds of cool rocks and wood and critter bones, most have ended up in my tanks
Yes bones do the same thing that coral and shells do for the water, they raise the PH a bit as well as the hardness. Plus they look pretty neat in a fish tank ;) I also have a large boor jaw that once I find it I will put it in one tank or another.

The bettas are both male butterfly half moons, the purple/blue one is named Purkle and the cellophane one is named Opal. I Plan on getting some of their sisters soon and seeing if I have what it takes to breed them.

Very nice, the Calvus and the Petricolas. Can't wait til I get my 250 up and running... those Brichardis are great too, Albinos?

A few regulars in with a few albinos. One of the albinos has paired with a regular and has been spawning, I havent seen any albino fry yet... but that really does not mean much, their tank is a jungle! The petricolas I have in with some xmas fulu for now, I'm hoping that they will host their eggs, they may move into my 240g soon though as my fulus are pretty much sold.

Shua, ship me your first born :lol!: That's about what they cost me :lol!:
