Well if it's just for the summer how about white clouds? They'll be fine in the cooler temps, unless the spot where the pond's at gonna be in full sun.

I haven't seen a lot of stores selling true fantails though... most are just ryukins without the big hump, but still have the deep body. I've always figured fantail bodies should fall somewhere between a wakin and a ryukin. As much as I like them though, it's definitely stressful to watch a gf...

Welcome! I have rainbowfish as well in a 75g (somewhat) planted tank. Love the turquoise ones, but that's coz my fave color is blue lol.

Fuggles is cute... love the varying shades of orange. I didn't like ranchus at first... the missing dorsal and huge cheeky headgrowth kinda put me off, but now I love them. They're like mini manatees lol. And I like the slimmer ryukins, not so deep-bodied. I hate seeing a goldie with...

Not right now, at least not in its current state... it prolly sounds nicer than it really is lol. It's just a really big round tub with some small water lettuce floating on top. I tried bringing in some other pond plants but they just weren't getting enough sunlight during the winter. Can't wait...

Hello all! Can't believe I haven't stumbled onto this forum since I moved here almost 4 years ago. Nice to see so many fish/aquarium enthusiasts in the area. I jokingly call my apt "Fife aquarium" since I've got 7 tanks running, plus a couple betta bowls, and mini indoor GF pond. Water changes...

Beautiful goldies, especially the calico.... fellow goldfish lover myself, so you're not alone :) One of these days I'll post up pics of mine. I love ranchus, but haven't really found a good source of them around here.
