They're like angelfish: the red eyes develop with age.

The foot print of the cube has led, I believe, to the two batches intermingling. Which to me is hilarious because each pair is now guarding the others fry from the producer.

I get that all the time in my Amph tank. I'll get 2, 3, sometimes 4 spawns at once and eventually all the fry is all over the place. The parents have no idea who's kids they are watching lol

I think some of them are big enough to eat 0.5mm fry pellets.

Went to Pet Works, Olympia over lunch and picked up 3 Xiphophorus hellerii. 1 male and 2 females. I will post pics when I get them added to the 60g. I plan to remove the harlequin rasboras.

Well, the swordtails are in the planted 55g not the 60g. Given a royal not welcome by the pair.
