My attempt to making my own food.

Flounder fillets I actually used only 3 fillets. They were smaller

2 tilapia fillets. They were altogether a thicker fillet.

Half a handful of frozen while krill. It's all I had.

1 1/2 cups of Kens xtreme pellets used as a filler.

Roughly 2 oz of VitaChem just an all purpose vitamin. ( if there are any better ones out there please fill me in)

Roughly (just eye balled it) 8 oz of frozen scallops.

Roughly (eye balled it again) 7 oz frozen shrimp. I peeled them.

The ingriedients minus the pellet filler.

Finale result. After one broken blender haha. I had to use the magic bullet to finish it off

In the freezer now and will try it in the morning. I'm going to laugh if my fish don't eat it. But hey this was my first attempt at making my own food. I think it's high in protien and minimal in moister. Anyway any experienced food makers out there please comment I can take advice. Or if something was done wrong or could have been better just let me know.

Yea, I think it's too late.
Unless you want to defrost, blend it all again.

Next time add peas without the casings.

Ok good to know. I will add some next go around. So I know for the next batch to add some garlic juice or minced and also some peas. Thanks.

Cool, thanks protocl!

Ok I just tried it. My Red Tiger Mota I just got yesterday ( thanks halp) hit it with out hesitation. A little convict Texas cross hit it the same. And my pictus loved it. None of the dovii even mouthed it. I may try to fast them a day or two. Oh and the little pink con ate the pieces that broke off.

Feed in the mornings when their the hungriest. May be add a few pieces of beefheart?
If you make enough, I'll buy some off you.

Ok I'll add some beef heart to the next one but probably won't be much I heard it isn't good for them. And as far as buying next go around I'll make enough for two freezer bags and you can have one to
try it out yourself.

cool, I did the same thing. Mine is in the freezer also. I added:

Veggies: spinach, peas, green beans, cooked carrots, kelp, zucchini

Meats: talapia fillets, shrimp, clams, beef heart, whitet fish, krill, squid

cup of various fish pellets, 1/2 cup of dry brine shrimp and plankton,

8 cloves of minced garlic, multi vitamins,

and me too, one blender which no longer works.

Sweet. Yours sounds to hit the food pyramid way better then mine does. I didn't think to try any veggies most of what read about my fish is they eat meats. Fish krill shrimp things of that nature. I didn't see any say they needed veggies but I'll add some in my next batch.

I have no idea what the deal with the blenders lol.

The veggies add more fiber, I think the multi-vitamins do a better job.
None the less, both go hand in hand.
