It's got little bristles. Do you think it's a female? Reading suggests males have bigger bristles.

They are looking good.

My best guess for that one in the last photo would be a female, but it's hard to tell from one picture and it might be too young to say for sure. Look for them to develop bristles up the center of their head or snout as they mature. Those will be males.

Betty, I attest their quality and growth to Southern Delight veggie krill. They all come out as soon as it gets in the tank. They absolutely love it!

I can't find any definitive proof with a short research stating if they are a natural variant or bred in. Either way they are in demand and are great looking. :)

I can only say so because the bristles are much smaller than males. But I don't know how old or how many inches these fish are.

They are about 9 months old and this one is about 3" from nose to end of tail. And I feed every other day and these were taken on a not fed day in the evening.
