I haven't been on line latley, I started a third round of chemo late week and it's kicking my butt. I want to set up a large take this summer and keep some blue gill and other fish from the local lakes. I still have my 150 gal. tank but I would like to get a larger tank. What do you guys think...

Thats what I have on it now, I pick it up a couple years back and come in handy for this kind of thing.

I had a hose come off a canster filter and pump about 40 gal. water out on the carpet before I found it. Just finished cleaning up the mess. I guess I can look at it like a 50% water change that was due next week. I think I'll need to invest in a carpet cleaner, the Rug Doc. did a pretty good...

Re: Some of my past fishy friends... I read somewere to use a small tank to limit the movment of the fish. I have a Nikon D-300 I need to fine a good macro for. i guess I'll start on ebay.

I was in the Petsmat in Bellinghan and picked up a Marinland 350 HOB for $20.00 on clearance. It pays to keep your eyes open for clearance items.

i used Algaefix in my 30gal. tank about a week ago when there were no fish in it. I moved about 20 nickel size angles in today. When i went around to turn off light tonight I foun 4 dead fish and maybe 5 more that were about dead. Have any one used this stuff and had the same problem? I move all...

Hi Jim Were can I fine info. on doing a back ground like you have. I'm thinking about useing the 150 but I'm not sure I have room for it. I need to finish the stand I started befor I got sick.

I've been thinking about starting a African Cichlids and after reading a few post here I'm going to do it. What size of tank do you guy recommend to start with. Is the 1" per gal. apply with cichids. I have alot of reading to do before I get started, any good books I should look for. Any ideas...

I've been useing a 40 gal. breeder and that seems to work best. I'll jusk keep useing that for now. I'm sure I can fine something to use the 150 for. :)
