It's not a dislike of the management of any electric vehicle company. It's a hatred of non internal combustion engine vehicles that keeps me from buying one.

But you held the turn, right?
Or was it a left you had to overcorrect for? ;)

All good racers deserve a scar or 6 lol
I actually like the around town oomf of the Leaf and it's actually fairly tossable in terms of predictability. Definitely needs tires, better shocks and maybe some heavier springs in the back though lol
I've had literal fire breathing monsters that the wife refused to ride in lol Apparently anti lag doesn't impress women.
Or noisy barely street legal tires for that matter.
Or a suspension that hurt her back. Or the straight cut 1,2 and 3rd gears lol A lot of fun, especially after a week or two of driving something reasonable and forgetting how much and how immediate the power is.

I held the turn all the way through. It would be the left peg worn down if we lived in England but all our on ramps seem to be right turns o_O

To even them out, find your favorite roundabout (traffic circle) and hit it at about midnight with no traffic. I had an evening blowing off steam a few bikes ago and wore one rear tire down to a funnel in about 15 laps around in light rain. Flat track experience and a low seat height recommended for wet laps on a roundabout. I'm sure if you had the patience to find the throttle balance on a dry day you could drag your left lower fairing and look like a real track biker lol.

One of the things I recently did for my son to thank him was I took the sequoia that we gave him to drive, added a mild lift ( OME landcruiser lift springs) and bilstein 5100 shocks. Then we upgraded his tires from. 265 to 285 so he could have some 33s on it.

I told him he will be one of the most popular vehicles in the school parking lot…. The sequoia is an 06 and this year it will hit 200k miles. In the picture with my son in it, he stands at 6’ now( for height reference). IMG_6562.jpegIMG_1158.jpegIMG_6562.jpegIMG_1158.jpegIMG_2338.jpeg

O.Z rally style wheels is always the way :)
Unless you're me and you just had to have everything Prodrive so it all matched. It helped a lot that I was on a first name basis with Prodrive USA at the time.

Hey sir Keith, I know you are a collector of the finer / rarer BMWs, but I’ve also become a fan of one online…. I’ve watched the price drop from month to month and even looked at it in person ( it needs so cosmetic work and a new windshield seal). If it drops to 5k, I may buy it for a weekend driver.

Here is a picture : 2001 bmw 740i with the M kit…..

I like this year as Jason Statham drove a black version of this in the original transporter movie.

We shall see.

@lloyd378- Pretty car, but be aware that the 7-series can be expensive to maintain, which is one reason that their resale prices are so low.
Yes, i did a lot of reading up about them. Definitely a ton for some required maintenance. With that said, it would be a cool car to have my son work on since he’s taking auto shop 2 which is a two period elective every day during his junior year. He will get certified in a few different things this year, which I truly wish I had that opportunity when I was in highschool!

As for cost of replacement parts, it is a lot like my old landcruiser, haha

Just because it was 30 years old, didn’t mean the prices for parts were still set in the 1990s. Haha

What I’d really like to pick up is a a Suzuki samurai 4x4 with the removable top….. I’d like to teach my son how to drive a manual transmission and he’d really like to learn!

I forgot to mention that this car has now dropped to 6999. They drop it 1k each month, so in two months, if they still have it, I will call them back up and see what we can work out.

Here’s to the high mileage Toyota club! My ‘06 4Runner has about 260k on it… still a baby like your Sequioa!
