ok impulse buy...was at petsmart and was standing around waiting for my fiance, to finish looking around.

Started poking at the bettas and a lovely Lilac male delta tail kept following my fingers and playing with me...

Fiance comes over and we pull threw them just to look and we find a lovely DT musterdgas..........after talking about it and looking at them for about 30 mins we walked out with them both.

here are some lovely pics of the boys!!!!

I think the DT might be my next breeding project.

(no they do not live in this it was a temp set up to get pics of them )

fist our lovely lilac male. with some butterfly patterns (white on fins..not full) this guy has awesome personality but not the finnage Im looking for for breeding

That's one is good looking too! I have a male that I'm having health issues with but he still keeps plugging away. Gorgeous colors. Makes me sad I can't get him back to normal health. At this point I'm thinking it may be a tumor.

aww yeah U have seen your posting on him..Tumors are surprisingly common with bettas now days :(

I have not bred in a a long time..i think this male had made me want to ^_^.

Other methods have seem to fail on trying to get him better :/ But he has great colors.

Can't wait to see the other pictures!

A friend of mine had a betta with a tumor live for over a year after it became large and showed its self.

he ate just fine moved around and had great color.

some times all you can do is your best and see how it works out.

That's what my plan is for now. I took him out of the community tank and he is now in his own. I want to try the epsom salts but I feel leary about it. The fasting and peas did reduce his size some but not back to normal. I just don't want to over do it and there is a such a variety of ways they say to do it I am on the fence. lol
