Its funny you say that, I hear it all the time from those that dont know. 
In baseball, there is no salary cap. So teams like the Spankees, bedsox, Rangers and now the Marlins and Angels can spend as much as they like.
But in basketball, there IS a salary cap. All the teams have the option of spending the same amount. Dallas does, the Spurs, Celtics, Knicks and Heat do too. So why is it when the Lakers do it also, EVERYONE says its because they buy all the players.

It doesnt matter anyway, because the same man that f***** Seattle out of a team, rejected the trade. Not sure how he can do that, but he did.

:laughhard: my sports world is being flipped upside down with pujols going to the angels and the possibilty of peyton manning leaving indy. sucks being a diehard st. louis cardinals fan but at least he'll be playing the mariners 20 times a year. and im hoping paul allen will nut up if peyton hits the trading block and get seattle a dynasty going :cheers:

they both suck. i do believe that jackson in a tebow-like situation where they change the offense to a one read and get the ball out play action offense kinda like the jets do with sanchez he could be very good cause hes a serious athlete with a killer arm just all the muscles are in his biceps and not his brain. then again i think if carrol can get barkley hell go for it cause hes turned into a stud at usc.

Barkley yes, thats who I want Seattle to get. Come on draft. Oh wait, knowing the Hawks they will blow the chance at getting a good draft pick , say like the 9th pick, by winning the last game of the season so that they can go into the playoffs and lose, and drop to the 22nd pick.
