I think there is a third really similar one in the aquarium trade, it might be the Black neon.

Neon’s when in large schools are awesome. The lemon tetra or the crystal tetra are pretty sweet as well. Currently I have serpae tetras, and when kept in good conditions have a beautiful reddish maroon color.

I want a PACK of tetras, like 30 of them. Would be so pretty all together. Had 10 going healthy and strong for a while, then ONE got neon tetra disease and took the whole herd with em.

I've always liked cardinal tetras.

I like the little Harlequin tetras. They seem pretty hardy and always make a beautiful group together. I can keep them with my Angels and the Angels don't try to eat them. There are a lot of very pretty tetras. But I guess this one is my favorite.

I had one (1) Black Emperor tetra for a little over a year. He/She was all black with green eyes in my tank!!!! He was named The Incredible Hulk!!!!

I like blue tetras. I have some with my buenos aires tetras and my angels. really pretty

I havent had small tetras in years but my favorite looking have to be the bleeding hearts.

For a really awesome experience I do enjoy watching a large school of the bucktooth tetras. Quite mesmerizing to watch them go back and forth!

And of course on my list of weird the sabre toothed tetra. Just freaky looking.
