Super cool show, though I'd have to agree on the above. Gets dry after awhile without those aspects! Then again if they showed that stuff non-fish people wouldn't watch it.

I'm curious about their clients... like... they want fish, and then they get their fish.... now what? Do the clients even know how to take care of fish? Or are the clients rich enough to hire someone that maintains their tanks? There are some tanks in that show where I think to myself "omg... what a pain in the butt that would be to maintain."

Like that silly church tank, seriously? I just... don't. Like. That. Tank.
The tank for the little boy, where you could lay down underneath it looked cool, but how the heck do you clean it?! Oh man... =P Sometimes, they just go way overboard with the aesthetics, and don't bother about the functionality of it all... then again, I s'pose if they included all the technical aspects of it, then the general public would lose interest FAST. So is the world of show business. Heh.

There should be a special, where it's like "where are they now?" where they show their previous clients, and see how their tanks are holding up. Hahahahaha...

oh GOSH. Remember when MTV was just music videos? hahaha... =P

I often wonder, how much do they usually charge for projects like that?

Folks like that generally hire aquarium maintenance companies.

Personally I think their tanks are absolutely hideous - they're gaudy, over the top, and the antithesis of any sort of natural habitat. I admit, however, that my sample size is rather small - photos taken from various episodes. I don't have television...

I don't have the patience for television anymore...so much of the stuff on there is absolute crap and I'm done wasting my life on commercials or even fast-forwarding through them. We reallocated cable TV money to smartphones instead a few years ago. We do have netflix (blu-ray discs and streaming) and hulu+ (I don't watch hulu+ on account of the commercials, but my wife doesn't seem to mind them); those seem to fill the gap nicely. Our display (projector) doesn't have a tuner, so no antenna tuning either.

That said, I might watch netflixed episodes of a show like tanked but for planted aquariums and biotopes. :D

:plus1:
I don't use watch cable television neither, it's boring waiting for commercials to be over, and well there's not too many interesting things to watch.
Movies = Torrented so i can watch it on my phone.
Tv shows = Torrented so i can watch it on my phone.
News = it's my job to know what happens generally :| so that's frustrating.

And tanked did do a nice play on their aquatic pinball machine, that used fluval substrate and some plants
But the cichlid keg tank was over the top, and I thought they'd all kill each other in the end.

and sal, tv isn't always needed, especially for younger generations who can acquire information through social forums like facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.
I'd rather spend time playing with fish or going out with friends, or computer gaming (top 200 league of legends!)

Yeah, you young whipper snappers with your bookface and dumb phones. :9*:

I got all that stuff too including online gaming and several clubs that I make time for including my time with my chitlins (thats my children for all you young'ins). I just prefer getting my local news and Must see TV from King 5.

wait...tv still exists? I'm with pbmax, all we have is netflix, and hulu+ . . . the rest, can just be downloaded via torrents... har har har... arrrrr....
