I have traveled quite a bit around the US and the world for that matter and lived in Alaska for 12 years. Would I like it warmer around here, yes! But there is no place else I would rather live.. Now if we could get the democrats out or buy a clue, I would be happier!!
This is it! I have seen every major country in the pacific rim, lived to or been to every state in this country, been to the deserts of the middle east and even seen a few parts of europe and after seeing all that, when I got out of the Navy I came right back here! Washington easily takes the gold for mild weather!

washington is awesome, i wouldnt move for anything. only thing i wish is that i lived somewhere north and not in tacoma. i swear ppl here just hate their lives and pretty much everything else in general. ive been all over the country myself and the only thing ive ever become fond of is the sense of community u get (southern hospitality type deal). plus.. think about it, your trading a random natural disaster (earthquake/volcano) for a for sure storm, your either in for a horrid winter, a tornado, hurricanes, severe winter weather.. im sure you could all add a few things here :)

 I have done the Tornados and huge hail thing before having your car fine one minute and totalled the next gets old the first time...much less 5 times in six years. Fort Riley sucks. The East side skips all the rainy bit If the tsunami gets me here we have all had it anyway, but you all get it first.
