SOLD: $180 for the entire group of 8 fish.

Going to do a major stock change to my 300 and have decided to rehome my 8 silver dollars. This is for pick up only in Lakewood

These are Setiger silver dollars or sailfin silver dollars. They are not your everyday cheap fish, these are quite expensive and on the rarer side. I will be upfront that the group cost me $700, so I cant go below the advertised price except for the trade exception for equipment listed below. Sold as the entire group of 8 for $180.00. (thats $22.50 per fish! Again sold as the entire lot of 8) I would guess about 5"-5.5" diameter for them.

Sorry for the bad pic that doesnt do them justice. They have a wonderful pinkish hue and there are three males and five females. Of course the males are the lookers with the trailers on the top fin so I have a nice mix of sexes.

Please be properly prepared to transport these fish, they are not all going to do well in a single 5 gallon bucket. Multiple buckets or larger tote would be best. I would also recommend a battery air pump as they are being transported, so that you get these fish home safely.

EDIT 11/14 ALL FISH SOLD

I would be willing to trade all these fish for the following: 1 new in box Aquaclear 110 (new version only) and 1 new in box Fluval T300 heater. Both together would come out to $175 on Amazon, so a bit of savings for you and equipment I want for me. This might work out well if you are sitting on some Amazon gift cards....

Awesome fishes, and an awesome deal, but I hope you make sure they go to a home in which they can be housed properly.

I put it on Craigslist with the note to do your research before contacting me to buy... I am assuming most of the ones on Fishbox would know better and on MFK.

I saw a post on MFK in which he was keeping Tropheus with Angelfish. Enough said...
I saw a post just this week with Frontosa and severums in the same tank… but I digress,

The pictures for sure don’t do this group justice. If my big tank only had my arrowanas in it, I’d jump at the chance to own these red hooks, but at the moment it doesn’t.

Good luck with the sale!

Well I guess the hope is that if someone is willing to drop that much money on fish that they would know better...

Buyer backed out and said he wasnt able to house them right now. I thanked him for not being a flake and do a no show and then ghost me, lol. I mentioned if money was an issue that I noticed he had a huge group of clown loaches and that we could do a trade, no answer yet... The loaches were not too big and I figured that at the size they were, they would be any easy $25 a piece equivalent to what I was asking for my fish. Oh well, I will refresh the Craigslist ad and this is my allowed bump from me this week.

How is backing out at the last minute because he doesn't have room to house them not being a flake? o_O

Yeah, I know. But at least he texted me early on the day of instead of being a no show. I had an MFK person respond that they were interested and when I responded back they just ghosted me.

When I do get a chance to meet up with people, I always mention our site here at Wafishbox.com, have seen a couple people sign up so thats always good.

@DMD123 are these guys super voracious like red hooks? I'm contemplating on grabbing these, but I'm worried they'd steal all the food from my stingray.

They are with a large pearsei and oscar and are a bit too afraid to get up in there right away. Ive had red hooks before and they were fearless and got right up in the feeding. So these guys are a hair calmer.

I haven't kept up on my Craigslist ads for these fish, but posted again recently and got one of those 'what is the least you will take for the fish?' inquiry's. I responded kindly but I wanted to say 'What's the most your willing to pay?', lol. if your going to ask the question then just spell out how much you want to pay and just say it. Ugh, rant over.

Bump - fish are still available.

I will consider trades for very specific items or fish.

Trade all 8 fish for 1 new in box Aquaclear 110 (new style) AND 1 new in box Fluval T300 heater (Probably only about $175 this route)

Trade all 8 fish for other fish: Interested in Clown loaches, Roseline sharks, Mascara barbs (Wet Spot has for $29.99 each, would trade for 7 of these) - Fish trades can be talked about as to what we feel would be equivalent or comparable price ranges.

Man, if only my 220g was housing my silver, I’d jump on these, but alas, my 14” Dovii X Jag loves the tank all for himself.

We would not play kindly to your beautiful fish.
