i was using my old setup - nikon d5000 with 18-135, no filters. using my friends manfrotto tripod.

I got a D90 last Christmas.. finally added a SB-600 this year. What a difference a nice flash makes & able to radio trigger it off camera.

dont forget a flash diffuser and good quality rechargeable batteries.
