An auto-feeder... that takes away all the fun

I'm gonna be gone for about 12 days. And I could get the neighbor to drop by and feed them, but after all the horror tales about that same scenario I'm more than a bit reluctant to go that route.

I want to enjoy my :santa:

I use pill boxs with the days of the week on them and have the person just do it once a day. I also do smaller than normal amounts because I am not around for water changes.

But a feeder in this case is a good idea. Enjoy your time away (hopefully somewhere warm).

The pill boxes is a good idea. Especially when going for a handful of days. :)

We're going to the East Coast to visit family. So not particularly warmer, and possibly a better chance of snow due to staying in a valley. :) But no :rendeer: :D Though there are some llamas near my mom's.

I think I will use my coupon on frozen food for the fish and maybe a Omega One sinking pellet. Apparently my fish will not go after the Xtreme food I just bought. My convict and betta will eat it  .

Anyone ever tried the Omega One marine pellet with garlic? It does not say floating, so I am assuming it is sinking. Trying to ween the fish off flake and onto a good pellet. They seem to have difficulty going after the floaters. A bit scared of the surface feeding.

Anyone else going to use the coupon? What are you getting?
