Noob Seaweed feeding question

I feed my cichlids dried seaweed all the time, I was walking around the waterfront the other day and I saw some fresh green seaweed. I was wondering if it would be safe to feed these to my cichlids.

Some you can, some you can't. If you don't know what kind of seaweed is that, I wouldn't try it.
