new red Texas pair

spent $25 on a pair of red Texas cichlids. they look like normal Texas cichlids but supposedly the mom was carpintis and dad was blood parrot x texas. hopefully they fade but I'd be happy if they looked like a normal Texas.. they have paired up before I bought them and had a single batch of fry at 1.5" and 1"

go craigslist! They look kind of red in the pic. Is it just the lighting?

well they are so fast I can't get a pic of them in my own tank lol. these are the pics Craigslist ad. but they aren't actually red at all yet. look grey blackish and had breeding skirts on first two days or so!
