New here, in Tacoma.
Hi everyone! I'm thrilled to have found this forum... kind of wish I had sooner! It's nice to see so many people from around here- I'm born and raised in Poulsbo, currently living in Tacoma.
I've kept fish for years (Mubuna's, mostly, with a couple community tropical tanks), but had taken a break till recently. Currently, we've got 2 20gallon Tall tanks, connected with a 'bridge' (4'' acrylic tubing) that the fish use to travel back and forth. We've got 2 HOB aqua clear 50's, and a 10 gallon sump system, with a homemade wet to dry filter. Since we've got decent filtration (and good water parameters) our tanks are pretty well stocked. We've got 10 neon tetras, 10 bloodfin tetras, 9 zebra danios (one jumped...
), 2 rainbow sharks, 2 albino bristle nose plecko, a mystery snail, and 3 juvenile angels. I REALLY want to add a couple German Blue Ram's, as I've never kept them, but I want to find a good breeder that has local fish, and not get sucked into the terribly unhealthy fish I'm seeing at the chain stores.
I've also got a 5gallon betta tank, which I'm about ready to upgrade to a 10 gallon. It's split, with a male and female crown tail.
... I think that's about it....
I'm looking forward to learning lots from you all!
