picked up a trio of f-1 frontosa kigoma from my buddy in walla walla this weekend. i'm really stoked about them. love them already. once i get a little more $ i'll fill out the group with fish from a couple different blood lines. they are currently in my 125 with my burundi i am growing out till i can get my money back out of them. none of these fish are breeding age so no risk of hybrids. here's a few pics.

my buddy in walla walla was thinning out his colony. he bought a bunch of fry from 3 different sources. he had too many for his 150 and wanted them to go to a good home. he gave me a great deal considering the size. 5" male and 2 4" females. he even let me pick the females i wanted. i'm really stoked. they are beautiful.

the first and 5th pics were taken with the lights out upon releasing them in the main tank. they were a little stressed from the trip. that's why they look so dark.

The Bismarks act like puppies, they swarm the corner where I drop food in. I love the way the stripes go into the dorsal fin. nice blue color early, but more aggressive than the Kigs at a smaller size.
