:spoton: - Looks like a great start Wes. Should be fun to watch the baby's dart in and out of that pile O woOd. With a high protein diet these fish will get big and fat in no time. +1 for your new adventure  :D

How will driftwoods start to sink. They're in water since the swap.

might sink faster if you pull them out to boil. Tank looks awesome! :D
Thanks guys.
I have a 6yr old kid size log in there with 6yr old kid arm and leg size pieces. Compare wood sizes with my kid's size. Cant boil that in a pot.  But how long will take naturally.

I can't imagine using any type of wood besides that which sinks. Suppose I wood think about a way to attach it to slate rock using aquarium safe epoxy and stainless steel lag screws. Maybe scrap the the epoxy and drill a hole in the slate rock. To hold the woods together you could use stainless screws.

.....?.....

My question is whats average time for driftwood to sink naturally. Meaning just soaking the darn things. No boiling or whatever. :?:
