o man larry that sucks. those hara are looking GREAT had to rehome more males then id like tho. any chance u got some older gals that need new homes? either way glad to hear your around still. its a shame nobodys after your africans they really have fantastic genes.
Yeah, I'm finding those Hara's are crazy aggressive to each other. Don't really give a crap about other species though, so they fit nicely in a mixed tank. I sell all of mine when they're young to one of the mail-order suppliers, so they never get big enough to sex. I'm willing to sell to someone local as long as it doesn't become a big hassle, but it's guaranteed that I can sell all of them the other route before they get large and difficult.

Glad to see you doing well and making a cameo! Didn't you have a rather large tank you were working on?
Thanks man! Yes, I have a 300g (48x60x24) that I'm building. That's the one that the steel frame is here and ready, the sump is here and ready (another 100g or so capacity), and I just need to pick up the tank itself.

You had us all worried, Larry. I was wondering where you'd been. It's good to hear you're still keeping fish.
I haven't seen Spyral on the forum in a long time either. Anyone heard from him?
Thanks Betty.

I don't expect to be stopping with the fish anytime soon - I had my house built to accommodate them! The 1st 300g should be ready for assembly within a month - I just need to get it transported and cleaned up before I move it in. The 2nd 300g will be sometime next year - the tank is in the garage but I wanted to finish the first one and incorporate lessons learned into the second one.
Spy's in Louisville, KY. Lucky him, there are a couple of breeders in the area and as I recall he was scouting his next tank right after he moved.
