Those are from bobby from bobbys water world, and my one female is now guarding her 3rd batch of eggs. To bad my water perimeters in my tank wont work for producing fry.

i love all the pics truly amazing specimens!i wish i could have some my house temp shifts so rapidly they'd be dead in a hour.just for educational purposes what is the tank size and parameters,tankmates.

20gal tall for a pair is the min. tank size

Tankmates - Seen them kept with smaller docile SA cichlids, (Kribs, Apistogamma,Rams), Ive also seen people keep them with angels but its not recommended.

Parameters - Soft as you can get it, and very acidic.... so PH in the 5's or less... and kH/GH as low as you can go.... best tanks are planted.

I tried to breed some, and just got a established pair going in there own tank when I had to leave the country... They are really gorgeous, and I love the way they watch you... I was on the otherside of the room, and always felt there eyes looking at me when i watched tv... lol

OHH you make me so jealous.I had apistogramma for a year no breeding sadly male was almost 3 inches.amazing pictures again.And what is the yellow one?

Think it is a Pigeon Blood.... There is so many different names people call them its hard to keep track.... I dont have discus anymore. So dont be too jelous, that was the old setup. 14 tanks.

Cant do that again though, wife said no way... not until we own a house and have a basement for me to call the fish room
