The easiest way is to post your pics to a photo bucket account. Once your photos are uploaded, click on the pictures you want to put here. Go to the bottom of the photo bucket page and click on choose action, then click on generate link codes, then click on IMG for bulletin boards and forums. Then come to your post here and in this space just right click and click on paste. All of the link codes from your pictures will appear here, and now you are golden. It is really simple once you figure out how to.

Madness,
sounds like a lot of hoops to jump through! I can post pics on other boards withoout going through the ringer as long as they're of sizes allowed on that board...I started a photo set through google flickr and I still can't figure how to move photo's off there. What a pain, I have pics ready to post but need to take the time to learn how....:bounce: :pale: :cyclops:

Its really not that difficult.  I uploaded 20 pictures tonight and it took me less than 10 minutes.

There is a way to post pictures without making a photobucket account, it's pretty straight forward, and if you know how to attach photos in an e-mail, this will be pretty simple. I know some people don't like making other accounts, different strokes for different folks, I s'pose. I have a photobucket account, I use it, but I find this method of posting pictures much easier.

Alright, I've gone ahead and made "step by step" ways to upload a picture onto here, straight from your PC... assuming that the picture is not from another source, somewhere in the internet, as that is a whole different procedure. Let's begin with this one first:

Step 1:

Step 2:

Step 3:

Step 4:

Step 5:

Step 6:

YAAAAAAAAY! (Ahem...Step 7):

You're welcome. =P

Sweet! :D that's awesome, cichlid-gal! Thanks for testing out my little tutorial! If I remember to do it tonight, I will do a tutorial for the other method. :)

BTW, first time you do this you will create a new account on the servimg site... not a big deal as it is linked to the fishbox account anyway. On the plus side, you can use that account to view all images you've posted to fishbox and delete any "evidence" from older threads you've forgotten about!

I'm glad it was useful!

Well, it's 11pm, and I'm feeling lazy... so maybe the next tutorial will happen tomorrow... :DHad a busy day working on my 8 foot tank... lol.

Wow, this, I did not know. I don't recall making a servimg account, but hey... that's neat. :D I also didn't know you could view all the images you've posted on here. Whoa!
