I am having the problem on mobile that it won't just keep me logged in. Even if I have the browser still open it will log me out, including when I have the keep me logged in option checked. :/

I noticed this as well.

I miss the notifications banner at the top that let me know someone had commented on something that I had. But the format of this one conflicts a whole lot less with my mobile. :)

On the User Control Panel, under the Board Preferences tab (first one), and then the "Edit Posting Defaults" category, the last option is "Notify me upon replies by default", and mine was off when we switched over. Not sure it will fix your issue entirely, but worth checking/trying.

Not really a help question but what happened to our post counts? I had already celebrated getting over 6000 posts and now it shows I only have 5577. Where did the posts go?

I'm unsure why the post counts were off for you, and there were a few things we lost in the transfer yeah. Once I catch up with all the people having problems logging in etc, I can look at more upgrades etc, see whats out there for us.

Here are the suggestions by the coder. Report back if any of them work?

iOS/Android devices have strange issues with cookies.

First, it's possible there is a conflict with old forumotion cookies. Users on mobile devices should first clear their browser cache, and then delete all cookies assigned to wafishbox.com. (Note: they can NOT use the "delete cookies" link on the new or old board; they MUST delete the cookies in the browser.)

Second, users on mobile devices should make sure their browser is accepting cookies from wafishbox.com.

Third, users on mobile devices should access your site with this URL:

http://wafishbox.com/forum/index.php

Note the lack of "www". This is a bug in most iOS devices. (Actually, everyone should access the site with that URL. The site will load faster.)

This should solve the majority of problems. There may be a few people with mobile devices who have trouble remaining logged in. Those people will need to update the firmware in their smartphones.

Still not letting me change password. Clicking on that link or going through email link. Maybe resend it? Idk why this stuff happens to me

"Return to the index page

SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x98\x9E' for column 'post_text' at row 1 [1366]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.

I think there are a few bugs to be worked out it seems. I have found another minor one hut want to wait for other items to be sorted out before bringing it to attention. The new url fixed my problem it seems. Thanks Cory!

Hi, I'm the person who did the board export.

You must be trying to use emoji in posts and/or passwords. Emoji and other extended Unicode characters are not supported in phpBB or in most other software. Try using only alphanumeric characters for your password. You can use any of the base Unicode characters in your posts...that's about 63,000 different characters.

Minor thing, not sure if it is just set up that way or can be fixed. Maybe it's a setting I haven't found yet. When viewing threads with multiple pages of posts it takes you to the first page. Even if you've already made comments in the thread. When all the other bigger more important bugs are worked out can this be looked into so that it goes to the last page/last post?

You can go to the last post of a any topic by clicking on the
icon_topic_latest.gif
icon in the Last Post column.

If there are new posts in the topic, you can click the
icon_topic_newest.gif
icon to the left of the topic title to go to the first unread post in the topic.

On the mobile theme, the "Go" button will take you to the last post, and the "New" button will take you to the first unread post.

I've been using mainly from the "View Unread Posts" page which may be why I haven't been able to do this on the mobile. I use mobile 99% of the time.

Thank you for all your help Dion and Cory for this transition to the new forum and helping/dealing with all of our questions and comments. :)

The "New" button is visible on the View Unread Posts page. If you tap the number of replies on the right, the topic author information will be replaced with the last poster information, and the "Go" button will then be visible.
