What made u join.how did u find it.ill start.one day I met madness bought some amazing fish he mentioned some forums.so I looked joined and have had a chance to meet some amazing incitful people hopefully we can spread the word about wfb so we can educate newcomers.

For me I was just looking online at different fish doing research and found the site. I bookmarked it and watched it for a while before joining. Once I started to get to know people and then got to actually meet them in person, I was hooked. Ive developed a lot of friendships and met some really great people.

I like the fact there is a huge base of knowledge here but no in your face type treatment if you have questions. Ive been on quite a few different fish forums but this one has to be my favorite. Again its because of the people here.

I found it by just searching stuff. I like it here but it really does not offer me much. I am keeping Tropheus which I found here and 1 Malawi tank. I am really not into SA or CA fish or pleco's for that matter.

It's just not my bag baby.

I do enjoy looking at the tanks and scapes people come up with and if your into it great! The people here are nice which is a major plus. I like Trophs.com but it's a place where only a few answer your question even though you get 500 views you might get 2 that respond.

The Cichlid forum is prolly my favorite by far.

I just think its nice to have a place to go to be with people who wanna know what's in your tank or how's your big fish doing and know what the fish is

I was one of the original guys on here.... i think I saw a add by kingstature to join from craigslist.... The site has really taken off since then... thanks to the creator and mods... THANKS MIKE AND GUYS!

I found this site by the add on Craigslist also..
I've been on MFK for years and have made lots of friends there.. :)
But for local peeps this forum is WAY better than MFK.. I like knowing that if i want to buy and sell stuff we're all in the same state and i don't have to worry about shipping everything.. :) Plus getting to meet face to face is always nice..

I saw on CL also. Mikey has done a great job. (I dont know about the mods though) :scratch:

Looks like bluehunter and myself joined before you. How come we arent mods? How do you rate? :suspect:

A buddy told me about this place. I checked out a few other fish sites, but this one was the most "down to earth" with many helpful people to which I have met a few on group buys and all. I like the fact that my favorite fish store is sponsor here too.

Aww... yes, I remember... you guys were here before me! lol.... 3 days I think right? I remember a huge problem with mod/admin rights back then when the sight was getting started... There were 5 of us that were on this sight daily back then, and contributed many things to the sight.... things just got out of control.... as far as "how do you rate", well, mod isnt a rating, its kinda a job/responsibilty that your not paid for... lol.....

Is there really that many things that are wrong with the sight that need more mods/admins? I think the current group are doin a fine job. :) but if anyone deserves to be one.... I would want it to be a african keeper.... j/k.... you would definetly be up at the top of applicants. ;)
