Hey there! Been raising fish for years, community, brackish, African, and now South Americans.

We just set up a 100g for out new babies we just got (Thanks Madness!!) Festae, Dovii, Red Devil, Zonatus, and Red Isletas! Super excited about them!! We also have a mystery pleco, a new Leopard Pleco (L114), and a tiny Albino Bristlenose Pleco.

Gold Nugget Look-alike

The Leoprd

I will post more as the babies get bigger. I have a feeling the festae is going to be a very vibrant female, keeping my fingers crossed!! Thanks for lookin!

Welcome. :) I am glad they are doing well. Where did you find that Leopard,(L114)?

I have one and am looking for another. Like I said on the other post, I believe your other pleco is a Vampire. (Look out when lights go out)

Madness we got him from Kevin in burien. It was between this guy and a 8+" Royal. They royal was beautiful but he was HUGE!! I think we are in the market for a smaller one so it can grow with the other plecos we have.

I think the mystery one is a Vamp for sure! I knew it wasnt a Nugget, it was bothering me! We will be sleeping with Garlic from here on out!

I was just there on Wednesday. Dang it. Monitor your fish in the tank that that pleco is in. The tank that you bought it out of, was full of ich and fungus. They had the lights out and was quarantining the tank.

I wanted that Adonis pleco in that same tank also, put it was sold on Monday. :x

So I bought the 5" Blue Phantom instead.

Uh oh!! I hope not, we just moved all the babies from the 65g Hex to the 100g. They all look great but I will keep an eye out! Thanks!!

Good call on the Blue Phantom! Those are beautiful!

I just dealt with some ich in one of my tanks.... i knew better, should have quarantined the new fish before adding them, but I was too impatient.... I hope that you will be ich free!
BTW those fry are awesome, i have a few of the red isletas and zonatus already, but will be hopefully getting some festae fry when they become available!

Thanks!! I can't wait until they get bigger! The Festae especially, shes gonna be a beaut! I wish I could get a picture of her barred up, but when I go up to the take she comes up to me and loses all of her color, she is a begger and wants food!

Awesome! Welcome to WaFishBox!! So nice to see another fellow Kitsap fish enthusiast here! :) Your tank looks really nice! :) And that pleco looks so cool!!

*waving all the way from Bremerton* Nice to see you here!!

Welcome, I'm in Silverdale and have a ten gallon community tank (low tech). Nothing spectacular, but I work 11 hr days at the shipyard so I can't devote too much time to a beautiful tank like yours :)

Hi! The 10 Gallon is where it starts... Hahaha! My boyfriend works about the same schedule at the shipyard so I know what you're saying. Once they are up and running its not that much work really. Thanks for the welcome!

The smaller tanks are actually more work. Harder to maintain good water conditions with so little water volume.

Need at least a 20L, or maybe a 29g, then again a 55g would be better but a 75g would be more ideal, but you would have more options with a 125g, but with a 180g you would be set unless of course you wanted larger fish which then meant a 300g..... Its an endless cycle! :joker:
