I messaged a different section of the forum but people told me to message here so this is my spiel on why Adding Jobs/internships/volunteer should be added.
Hey I have an idea for a new dedicated market topic and It might not take off rite away. but in the long run Making a dedicated section for Fish/Aquarium/Aquatic Job openings would be a good idea. That way employers can find people who are really passionate about fish and aquariums and not just post something on craigslist where any joe smo can apply and embellish their resumes. If the employer is really interested in a applicant. They can read over the applicants previous post to see if they qualify for an interview. I believe that this will help reduce the amount of uneducated employees that we all see at some pet shops. (I once had someone try to sell me a hairy puffer for my beta tank ). I know for one, if someone even posted something for a non-paid intern ship or something like that I would do it just for the experience or in hopes that after the internship there would be a job opening. Whether the employer is looking for a employee, Intern, or volunteer they could find it in that section. I think there should be a dedicated section because if there is a job opening, we wont have to search every post to find it.
