Gestational period for Platy female

I got a Sunburst Mickey Mouse female last week & her belly is huge already. She seems to be aggressive about the Seaweed I put in there for them to eat tonight, and her belly is huge. When will she pop? I had to move all my fish into the 55 gallon I have her and the other females & male Platy in, along with the 7 babies from before I got the 55 gallon from someone off of Craig's List. Fortunately I haven't lost any babies, but am worried about new fry in a tank with three adult angelfish & three juviniles, along with an adult Raphael Cat & 2 Cory cats. I just know they will be seen as food by the adults. sigh

The angels will eat them no problem, plattys usually hold for about a month like other fish, but if shes huge you might want to get a breeder net and pop her into it

I was just getting on here to put up this same post. I'm glad someone else already had it on here. My female platy is HUGE as well. Getting fatter by the day, noticably. I believe it must have been pregnant before I got her as I just got her last week. But she was fatter than the others in the tank as was when I bought her. From the sounds of it, I need to put mine in the breeder box as well! I as well have an angel in my community tank so the platy will definitely be in the breeder box. My mom's angel's used to swim right behind her platy as it was giving birth and eat them as fast as they were coming out. :(
