Fish in the logo of website?

Hello all,

I searched for this information on the website, but couldn't find anything definitive.

Can anyone tell me what the species of fish is on the Washington Fishbox logo is?

It looks like a Aequidens species, but I cannot be certain.

It is indeed, Aequidens metae.

Thanks for the info dwarfpike, that's what I thought it might have been but can never be entirely sure.

It's hard to tell the four members of the metae group apart, I usually have to ask Alf Stalsberg myself.

Rapps has them in right now, and I was debating on which species to pick up...
diadema ‘Jenera Herrera’

Or pick up a rivaltus from Wetspot

I think the A. sp. Jenera Herrera are the prettiest of the four, and they aren't imported very often. The A. metae are a very close second though.

The Wet Spot got in by accident about a month ago 5 WC Andinoacara coeruleopunctatus. I new I should have jumped on them, they were gone a day after posting them.

Ooooooh, that's a great mistake Madness. It's hard to find the central american blue acara now a days.
