Filter Recommendations Please

I have a couple 10gl. divided tanks(Bettas) with HOB filters which makes for a strong current on one side. Would someone suggest a filter system or way
to split the flow evenly throughout th tank. Thanks in advance!

Put the filter in the middle of the tank.

I guess a simple problem only takes a simple answer! LOL! I was trying to avoid cutting the
cover anymore and notching the divider. This might be the simplest solution though--Thanks!

Yeah, I had to do it to an Aqua Clear 50 for my divided betta tank years ago. It was either that or lower the water level below the output of the filter (which made too much noise with splashing water) or cut the output and notch the divider.

You can add a koralia nano powerhead at the opposite end of the tank. Or another type of powerhead or circulation pump.

In my divided betta tanks I have an Elite filter in each section. They're small, submersible and silent. The water flow can also be adjusted on them. Makes me feel better knowing each betta has optimal water conditions. Even though the dividers have little holes in them it still doesn't let the water flow through it properly so whatever section the HOB is on that section will get the most filtration and the other sections not so much. I've just found the Elite filter to work the best for divided betta tanks. I would think the tiny whisper in-tank filter would also work very well if you had one in each section.
