Festae fry

My festae just had fry. Should i leave them in with parents or move them to seperate tank?

Its kind of a crap shoot. Is it their first time? Some times it takes the parents a few times before they figure it out. If you are are really wanting to keep all of them, I would pull them. But this could piss off the male and he may blame the female and possibly try to take her out. I usually either leave them in and let mom and dad figure it out, or pull around half of them. That way dad doesnt think that mom ate them.

Do you have pics of the parents that you can share? I have an amazing wc Columbian female that I want to breed but havent found the right male. I may be interested in some fry depending on the colors of the parents.

Thanks for the reply.. the female laid eggs once before but wouldnt let the male do his thing. This time i saw she was going to lay again and enclosed the tank in their spot. I pulled 3/4 and left the rest.
