DIY Experience

Hello All,

I'm looking to see if anybody from this community has DIY experience with plywood builds, or fiberglass tank creation.

Hopefully early next year I'm looking to start a large plywood build, but need to pick brains as to some methods that can be used or methods to avoid.

I've scoured MFK, and have some general ideas as to which way I wanna take the project but would love to see some DIY plywood/fiberglass tanks from the GNW.

I've also been looking for a way to make an aquaculture display tank, but finding classes to learn proper fiberglass mold and frame making is tough.

Any help is appreciated.

MFk has a lot more DIY plywood builds for sure. But if you do start a build please post your experience here.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I've scoured the MFK plywood builds, and they've helped me understand a lot!

My only hurdle is the plumbing and sumps! They really kinda confuse me.

I'd really like a fiberglass aquaculture tank for the added realiability, but cant seem to find a company to make them in this area.

Candyman, I'll be looking for your build!

Plumbing sumps & filtration you will find lots of experience here! I've looked into plywood builds myself. YouTube was a cool resource I tapped into while researching.

Thanks for the tip! Really need to try and avoid flooding my garage, so the more information about sumps the better.
