Custom aquarium stand

I am new to the site. Great information here.

So my wife and I have a 29 Gallon tank that we want to move to our living room. We'd like to have a custom aquarium stand that would closely match the style of the furniture that we have in the room, which is a mission style cherry cabinet and dining table. The stands that are for sale at the pet stores don't really fit the bill.

Does anyone know of a furniture or cabinet maker in western Washington who might make a custom stand and canopy for us?

A custom built piece will be pricy. You might be able to find a used wood one out there and refinish it for a reasonable price....

This maybe a goo idea. www.craigslist.org might be a good place to scout for a stand.

if you looking for custom cabinets you can easily google search your area and find one. But it would be fun to build one. .... nudge nudge
