Black sand

I am "considering" black tahitian moon sand for my new tank, but if i buy it i want to get it as cheap as i can! does anyone know of a place i can get it in bulk or super cheap?(relatively)

My other option is a larger grit pool filter sand.

Wish I knew, it'll be pricey for that size of tank. I had bought 200lbs. of it off CL a couple years ago for $20. Good luck with your search.

a guy sells black sand on CL... name is larry.... its not tahitian moon sand, but it looks good.

Black a cool shade to seE used. i prefer the lighter natural colors.

I don't mind the coarse moon sand in my 75 gal. Note that it does soak up your lighting and it covers up most everything except large Pleco poop.
