Anyone take advantage of the dollar per gallon sale so far?

I went in this afternoon and picked up two more 55 gallon tanks. I don't need them yet, but the price was too good to refuse. I plan to have one set up on each side of my mantle, one with community fish and the other with my puffer.

Should look nice when I get them both on cabinets with my new tv mounted between them, above the mantle. Ignore everything else, I'm remodeling and have stuff everywhere!

I would like bigger tanks, unfortunately they're too expensive for me :(

I will be picking some up this time around. Last time i got 2 40's and 2 55's. This time i want to get some smaller ones for growing plants. Haven't decided on the size yet though.

What is the smallest tank on sale for this? I still need to replace a standard 15 which ive heard also has the footprint of a 20 high...

The tanks are 10-55 gallon, but for some reason, the 15s are not on the sale.

I think it depends on the Petco, my Petco does just about anything if you ask. The Smokey Point Petco has some really good people working their, when you can find them =P On their last $1 gallon sale they gave me an additional 20% off just for having to wait ~5 minutes for their registers to boot up.

I bought a tank on the last one and haven't got it going yet... Bought a light and a Fluval filter already, just need substrate... and another co2 tank... And another diffuser... Meh less motivated already.

I caught that part. It was the whole " I got get this, that - I'm less motivated" part I was having issue understanding, LOL! I was trying to think of words to inspire, but my eyes went cross eyed from being tired... ;) I am just pulling your leg though.

Maybe think of something different to do with the new tank. Try different products, and plants. Perhaps find that little fish no one else has :)

I am not suggesting going the same route as I, but with my new set up I wanted to try other prducts. Yes they are expencive but I saved, timing was right, I picked up stuff here and there. So in turn, I have a new set up, something a bit different to hold my interest.

I picked up two 40b's last Sunday. They'll probably end up as grow-out tanks when I can find time to move some 20's and Exo Terra's off my shelves and onto my desk.

Yeah I was thinking of different ideas for shorter plants that would do well in a breeder totally different than I have... Or use it as a breeder and attempt to breed something, shrimp, tetras, not sure...
