I had wolf x Texas hybrids about 1.5-2 years ago. I gave a few to friends and then sold my last one to aquarium paradise. There's a high school kid near me that has one that we think came from my original pair...... It's cool to see yours grown up. I always wondered what happened to mine as half were Texas shaped and half were Dovii shaped

The one at Aquarium Paradise under the counter where you pay is a stunner.

The one under the counter isn't a Dovii x Texas ... At least according to Dom. It's a jag x Texas. I also had some of those years back.... Bit didnt keep any to grow up to find out, as I wasn't looking for hybrids back then. I just wanted all male tanks

You three are liars haha. The last trine I went in there we talked about it (last week) and he said jag Dovii . Maybe he was confused when he told me, but as I was giving it a good once over I could see the Texas and also maybe jag.... With the markings but could also be Dovii. Who knows

I just called and said we were having a debate on the parents of the fish under the counter....  I didn't identify myself but  i told the employee that i thought it was carpintas and a jag.  She went and asked and was told that it was a blue tiger cichlid .... Which is ???!!! Going to google it now

Just googled it..... Looks to be a made up nick name for a hybrid. Only found one video labeled this and no other info anywhere. The video looked to be old, and the fish in the video looked to just be a normal Dovii..... So maybe this proves Dovii as one parent, but I need far more proof before I believe it. The markings at the one at ap. look more jag like to me, but who knows

He is an old member on here and an ex-employee of Dom's. He was big into the hybrids. I have his number if it hasnt changed, I could send him a text and ask him to verify that it is a Dovii x Carpintis cross. :D
