The ponds, koi and goldfish section is ALIVE!!!!!!!! MUHAHAHAHAAA!!

So this is my goldie tank, In the video there's a lot of short pauses because I was getting distracted watching the fish and I was forgetting to form words so you'll have to excuse me. It's getting quite scary of how easily I get distracted now.

Thanks, Dennis is my pride and joy. I love all my goldies though, wish they weren't so overlooked by people because they are so intelligent.

@pbmax- yes and no, they'll eat some plants yes but the biggest problem these guys cause is just ripping the plants from the substrate while they root around. I was going to deck the whole tank out in large anubias but alas I couldn't afford them

@aquaman
Yeah I can see how not having the stress that the fish are not constantly trying to eat each other would be too much for people ;) Thanks for the comment.

There is a hierarchy in that tank that most people don't get to see. The calico Ryukin and Dennis are the top goldies, then the black moore, then the red cap oranda and then the red and white ryukin.

To each his own, apparently I'm the only goldfish lover on the forum. I guess I'm such a rebel! lol I would love to have large cichlids I just don't have room. The goldfish will need a larger tank themselves in the near future.

I'm just yanking your chain :) . I know goldies are not for everyone(or most people I guess lol), I'm not a huge fan of africans myself so... I think they're gorgeous but the aggressiveness is too much for me. I do have my one jewel I'm trying to get a couple more and I will have a 55gal small cichlid tank up in the future but for now I'm stuck with the 20gal.

Yeah, big anubias get pretty pricey.

If it's over 2", I don't keep it. :D They are pretty though...

Beautiful goldies, especially the calico.... fellow goldfish lover myself, so you're not alone :) One of these days I'll post up pics of mine. I love ranchus, but haven't really found a good source of them around here.

Very nice goldies and tank! Looks like you do a good job of keeping it clean for these messy guys. Fuggles is going to be so happy there. Lots of friends and space to swim around. :D

Heres a couple of pics of Fuggles so you know what he looks like. He use to be more white but I think he's turning orange.

Thank you thank you. Good to meet a fellow goldie lover, I felt so alone :( Not a big fan of the ranchus myself. I probably like the labeled "fantails" the most as far as fancys go. They don't have such huge abdomens as the Ryukins. I do greatly prefer the non-fancy verities but they just get too huge. I'm already going to have to upgrade that 55gal when Dennis and Anikin get bigger

@kiana-hey he's kinda cute! Was expecting the worse, I've seen some pretty freaky looking ranchus.

Fuggles is cute... love the varying shades of orange.

I didn't like ranchus at first... the missing dorsal and huge cheeky headgrowth kinda put me off, but now I love them. They're like mini manatees lol. And I like the slimmer ryukins, not so deep-bodied. I hate seeing a goldie with swimming/floating issues, but it's so common with their bodies being so warped.
