here are my ideas for when i start my new tank.

Soil substrate/Walstaad method.

I'm aiming for a large school of Pygmy Cories Corydoras pygmaeus (15-20)

Option #1

For dither fish, I'm debating on EITHER:
a shoal of Norman's Lampeyes
a shoal Black Neon Tetras Hyphessobrycon herbertaxelrodi (mum doesn't like em too much)
a shoal of Bleher's Rummynose Tetra Hemigrammus bleheri

Then I would have a small colony of RCS with this option.

My mother was only willing me to start another tank if the fish had some nice colors, I had to scratch out Rainbows because I'm sure the pygmy cories would become a snack at sometime.

Option #2

I was considering having a pair of Apistogrammas.

What do you guys think? I would love to hear your feedback.

Ideally, I would love to have The Apistos, cories and lampeyes, but I'm not really sure.
