240 gallon cichlid community update

just a quick update on my cichlids in my 240. everyones growing very fast and doing great. the la ceiba freddys have spawned for the second time. fish included are my 6" red devil, 6" hoga, 5" lyonsi, 5" synispilum, and the freddy pair male 7"+ and the females 4", also 3 smaller devils about 3" in hopes for my male to pair up with one.

thanks. hes getting nicer every day and has quickly moved up the pecking order to #2 in the tank behind the male freddy. cant wait till he gets 10"+

Nice. :D That Devil and Hoga are really starting to put on size. Your Freds look great, really like that little female.

thanks. im amazed at how laid back the hoga is. he really seems to know his place and could care less aout anything. the freds are fun. well see if i can keep the babies alive this time.

I love the look of that devil. Very tempted to get another but really want something bigger.

snook is where you should go. wild morph is the way to go and they get pretty big :D

Ive looked at snook before, I wouldnt mind having one of the wild type as opposed to the typical red bay. Would I have to name the fish "Snooki"?

I'd be worried that residual irritation would carry over to the fish...or worse I'd like the fish so much I wouldn't mind the person! :p

So "Snooki" the snook it is. They do have another thing in common, they both have a big mouth! :lmfao:
