I was just WAITING for him to say arowana. Hahaha

I was going to, damn tannins but I do not have the patience for it, I don't think I have any bins big enough either actually. I have a piece in the 10 I've had for 4 years I think, it never turned our water brown but I think drsfostersmith pre soaked em.

On another note! Ordered my 30 red cherry shrimp from pbmaxx, excited for those to get shipped out wed/thurs! :D

Horrible enabling and I freakin LOVE IT hahahah

Heres the beast in the 55! Very very narrow fit, almost over flowed the tank, plants going back in soon

Lars On, oh yeah, I forgot to mention, if you ever get any "fuzzy" white stuff on your mopani wood, that's okay. Your fish will gobble it up, and then the fuzzy white stuff will just go away on its own :D . . . somewhat unsightly at first, but it goes away after a while.

Nah; I don't like to actually go anywhere or do anything ;) If my weekends aren't booked with family stuff there's a ton of stuff I need to do apart from that. Aquaria, unfortunately, takes a distant back seat. Plus my cars are either large or fast - mileage sux, so it's a lot of $$ to drive up north. And my wife isn't terribly pleased with the amount of time I spend on my tanks as is. If I were to go hang with the fish nerds for a chunk of time on the weekend I might make her cry (and that's not a good thing). I'm sure I could come up with at least 10 more excuses! Regardless, have fun there - I'm sure there'll be tons of good stuff.

Eeep! Yes, definitely spend time with the family :) hehehe. Well then, looks like I'll be meeting new people and unfamiliar faces at the Swap! Somewhat nervous, at first, because I have no idea who is who, kinda like introducing a new dwarf gourami in the community tank LOL

Lars On: You awake yeeeet? That tank isn't going to finish up by itself :lol!:

Ahhhh geez, now I'm getting the shrimp bug! pbmax, I plan on starting up a small shrimp tank in the next month or two, I'll look to you when that happens.

Can't wait to see the tank with the plants lars on!

Haha don't get your panties in a bunch boy! Had to wake up early for work, dang jobs. Hopefully that guy gizmo doesn't know about the fish adventures, I hear he's annoying... Oh! Hi gizmo! How are the kids?! Haha I had no idea there was another Kitsap person! Not like we have amazing places to go around here anyways ):

Plants are in the tank! The tannins, looks like the Boston tea party all up in thur. Gonna hopefully have more plants tomorrow too!

HEHEHEHE!!! Can you imagine? The three of us, making our rounds all through Kitsap hitting every petstore along the way, first up north in Kingston, then work our way down to Poulsbo, then Silverdale/Bremerton, then end our day at Port Orchard (are there even any petstores down there? LOL)

That should be our weekend thing. Finding good deals and treasures. Hahahaha!!!

Oh yeah! Gonna plant that tank up like no ones business! WOOP WOOP!!! Then your shrimp from pbmax is gonna tear it all up and have a party like it's 2013! :D

I think there's one in gig harbor, a lady at the event I was working said she got her bettas from a place In gig harbor. O: I wanna go check out Tacoma!

Gonna have shrimp crawling out of the tank! Haha

Google says there's a pet store in Gig Harbor called "Pets and Palls" wonder if that's it...

Those are actually scotch tape holding the background on D; gonna have then covered with plants eventually :)
