I used to have six 150 gallon biotope tanks featuring six different regions of the world. Easy to do if you have the room but when you downsize into a brand new home 900 gallons of water is just too much. I craiglisted the tanks and down sized to 254...
i picked up the 100 gallon that was right next to your 55. I now have a hundred gallons of live plants. That tank was wall to wall plants when I tore it down.
Tried Oscar in Florida and it tasted just like bass. Not bad but wouldn't do it again. Several water ways and canals in Florida are full of them. Most are from the local fish farms that use outdoor ponds to raise tropical fish. A hurricane will cause the ponds to overflow and run into close by...
