Been looking for large plastic plants to put into my 300g and the only real choice was the marine land bamboo which is too long at 3ft and too bushy looking. The other choice were import plants that also were bushy and fake looking. I saw the Weco wonder plant at a store and thought they looked pretty decent.

Here they are, the Amazon Ruffled Sword in a 24" and 18". They are on the right of the tank and on the left is my custom plant. I took a marineland bamboo and made it shorter and used a base off a different plant. Anyway you get the idea.

The other swords are penn plax 'sinkers' and also look good if you bury the base deep enough. they just dont come as a tall plant.

Here is info on the weco plants:

These are the series I purchased, the freshwater pro

Found them on Amazon for a decent price but they only had the ruffled sword. Cool thing is that these come in a 30" tall!

Looks nice. I might have to check those out. If I use plants in my tanks, they are mostly fake and it bothers me that so many of the fake plants don't resemble anything aquatic. They seem more like houseplants.

I've used the "bamboo" in my 75 gallon and like the length. I like the way it looks on the surface because it's much taller than the tank. I did thin it a lot though because I don't like the bushiness.

I just saw that Kens online now carries the Weco plants. Prices are pretty reasonable.
