I contacted the owner, they said it was from Cichlid Connection, when I started asking questions he just said OK. I mentioned that his pair must be Nicaraguan because of whom he bought them from, and he replied with "yea that could be it".

Regardless, they are a nice pair but I doubt wild.

Its funny how people get something in their heads and use the term and really have no clue what they are talking about. I responded to a Craigslist ad for F1 Oscars that turned out to be just a common pet store tiger and albino that made some ugly looking young...

I guess F1 meant ' First Ones' to have babies, lol
