Well I almost lost 250 bucks worth of discus last night, I decided to finally set up my discus tank and realized I didn't get an extra check valve for my sponge filter so I just grabbed it off my other tank that was hooked to a powerhead, long story short the powerhead created a siphon through the airline tubing and I walked in to fifty gallons of water on the floor and my discus on their sides in an inch of water. Luckily I had the new tank set up for a few hours and everything was ready, put them in the new tank and they are all alive and well lol.

Holly fffffffudge cycles , u lost 50 GALLONS siphoned from an AIRLINE?! D:

Oh geez man, that's messed up....

Sorry for your scare...glad you were able to relocate the fish and I hope they recover well. And feel for you on that clean up...I have maybe 10 gallons or a little more on a leak...the rest I got the door...I can't imagine 50 gallons...so sorry.
