I used a piece of foam under the eggs to prevent any fish sucking them threw... here is a video. happened in the last three days.

WOW!! Why did you choose to strip her so soon, than to let her hold for 2 weeks?

Her being a first time mother, i assumed she would swallow them.... So just stripped early. I never waited long for my frontosa either, always stripped pretty early. I dont even think I grabbed the same fish that was spawning in the vid.... I got multiple duboisi holding now

I will definetly update a tube baby pictures every couple days.

Congrats Sand!! Wow, those eggs are tiny. Does your sponge cover the entire bottom of the tumbler? I was thinking about building some acrylic fry boxes and using reticulated sponge over drilled out holes to keep the fry separate from the juvies. GMTA.
