Set up my ideal 20 L cory tank with the intention of breeding my long fin corydoras in it. I went though all the troubles yesterday. Nice cold rain water, lowered temps, lots of live foods throughout the tank, breeding surfaces and cover.
Meanwhile the geniuses in the 20 tall with a Betta and 2 swordtails decided it was their night lol
No, I don't want you standard fins breeding right now. Let me get some long fins, then we can extend the family lol
So I fed them some live foods to give them some energy back lol Only a couple eggs this morning and were gone before noon.
Oh well, nature has her own things going on. Who am I to interfere? Still have a lot of rainwater and live food. Was not at all expecting the older girls that I know have spawned well in the past to be tricked on the first try. We'll see what happens over the weekend / week. For all I know the underside of the log they were all cuddled under is covered.
